Part rah-rah root for the home team, part caper and part homage to that Texas mom who killed for her daughter who couldn't be on the cheerleading team, "2nd Inning: Little Big League II" is more heated sex than anything else. All of the goofy fun had during the dialogue and plot of the flick is dispensed knowingly when it's time to start the sex. The cast is so in tune (okay, that's a musical term in a sports film, but forgive me, I'm not as athletic as I might dream) that the scenes float seamlessly into each other, from gang bang excitement to simpler two-way sheet-hitting, punctuated by only the howler of a plot for the sake of some extra fun. "2nd Inning" is fully warmed up and ready to play. There are five innings left until anyone gets to rest, so no one is allowed to be anything less than fully pumped and ready for this marathon game.
